Bill Fletcher, aka BBQ Billy, is a New England native with a passion for all foods prepared over wood and coals. Splitting his time between New York’s Brooklyn and Spencertown for the past 12 years, Bill has grown a strong affinity for all that New York has to offer from it’s urban hustle to it’s farmland bounty. 

An entrepreneur at heart, Bill founded and operated the award-winning advertising agency, Domani Studios (www.domanistudios.com). For a decade he grew Domani Studios to be a multi-million dollar operation with 50 employees in multiple offices from Brooklyn to Chicago. Bill’s primary role as President of Domani Studios was operational in nature, managing P&L across both offices and leading the management team. Bill sold Domani Studios to his business partner in 2010 in an effort to create a more balanced work and family life.  

Raising two children with his wife Lori, Bill is an avid griller and enters Chili and Barbecue competitions throughout New York and the New England area. Having cooked with foods from both national and local purveyors, Bill whole-heartedly believes in supporting local farmers and producers who raise animals in a humane lifestyle and treat the land with respect for longevity.  

He has long sought to bring his own style of wood smoked barbecue to the public, while genuinely having an interest in community building and providing services for his local neighborhood. Perhaps one day Bill will open a brick and mortar bbq joint, sourcing local foods, and creating a self-sustaining social hub for a thriving Brooklyn community. But for now, he's keeping it between friends, family, and the competition circuit.
